Developer launches new upscale project

WITH the continuing boom of the real estate industry in the metropolis, Cebu-based developer Commonwealth Estate Inc. (CEI) recently unveiled its latest offering of upscale residential units called 188 Sunflower Drive.

“This project is our take of upscale West Coast living that is nestled perfectly in the heart of Cebu City,” said Stephen Charles Liu, managing director of CEI.

The project is an exclusive community with only 18 units. It boasts of world-class amenities like underground electrical, cable TV and telephone systems that rid the property of tangled and exposed utility wires.

The steady influx of overseas Filipino workers’ remittances has spurred the growth of the real estate industry with most of the developments sprouting in the outskirts of the metropolis.

Capture

CEI aims to capture the market that values the added convenience of location in their investment, which is approximately five minutes from Fuente Osmeña.

“188 Sunflower Drive is just minutes away from major hospitals, schools and churches in the city,” said Liu. “It is especially convenient for those in the medical profession. Its proximity to the major medical institutions in Cebu makes it easier for doctors and medical aids to answer emergency calls.”

The project also prides itself of the security it offers. The fire and burglar alarm systems have an automatic dialer that is routed to local emergency units for quick response.

It also has a 24-hour security detail.

Models

188 Sunflower Drive comes in two Victorian-inspired models, the Mulberry and Mimosa townhouses.

The Mulberry is a 100-square meter unit of two floors with three-bedrooms and two toilets and baths. Mimosa is a three-story, four-bedroom home with 150 square meters of space that includes three toilets and baths.

Commonwealth Estate Inc. is the developer of various projects, such as Villa del Rio subdivisions, Brookfield Subdivision in Mactan, East Aurora Tower in Mabolo and North Singson Flats in Guadalupe.

Together with its sister company, contractor Primary Structures, it also builds landmark projects, including the Cebu City Sports, Globe Telecom Building, i1 and i2 and the WaterfrontCebu City Hotel and Casino. (PR)
