Talk back: Questions
By Gilbert Reyes Wagas

WHILE I respect your editorial decision not to reveal the identity of two lawyers who were accused by Cebu Vice Gov. Greg Sanchez of extorting P600,000 from him, I have several questions for the purpose of enlightenment:

- Why did it take the vice governor almost a year and a half to cry foul against the two lawyers and their extortion activities?

Pinoy Votes: Sun.Star Election 2007

- Why weren’t immediate disciplinary measures instituted against the two lawyers?

- Is it not a fact that the two lawyers are within his (Sanchez’s) domain, so under his supervision and control?

In the absence of any credible answer, Vice Governor Sanchez is digging his own political grave by making an allegation without substantial basis.

He is like building a sandcastle.
