Arthro inks 4th win in Basak tilt
THE Arthro Kontra Arthritis dribblers extended their blazing run in the Basak San Nicholas Sitio Panaghiusa Fiesta Cup basketball tournament as they roared off to their fourth straight victory in as many games the other day at the Basak San Nicholas Sports Complex.
After barely surviving Sitio Ipil during their third assignment, the Arthro quintet made sure this time to stay away from trouble as they massacred the Tribals, 60-42, to keep their immaculate record intact.

Arthro, which is owned by businessman and long-time sports patron Jonathan “Atan” L. Guardo, was ahead by only two points after the first period, 16-14, but unleashed a scorching 18-9 rally in the second canto to post a double-digit edge at the turn, 34-23.
Arhtro kept its offense flowing smoothly in the third quarter to blow up its lead to 51-33 going into the final phase.
Richard Gubaton topped Arthro with 16 points, while Totong Villanueva added 12 markers.
