Your summer-themed nails

GREET summer with a blast of colors! Paint those nails with the right color to reflect the fun and excitement of summer 2007. Nails are hardly noticed, yet are important in creating an impression. So here are a few tips to keep your nails color-fabulous for the summer.

Hit the beach with soft and delicate pastel shades of pink, blue or purple. Match it with your swimsuits and strut down the shore with that soft girlish array of colors.

Pinoy Votes: Sun.Star Election 2007

Accompany your late night summer parties with bright sultry colors such as red. Glow amidst the evening crowd as you keep the party heated up with your confidence and enthusiasm.

If it’s work that keeps you preoccupied during the summer, keep it simple and professional with the timeless French tip. Neutral colors such as beige and cream are also recommended, if you opt for a color that would go well with any office wardrobe.

You may want to get the punk-rock look and have black and dark violet-colored nails to show the domineering and mysterious side of you.

Or just go crazy with whatever color you want to try out. Mix and match to create a different kind of French tip or revive that little girl in you with candy-colored nail stickers.

Show your different personalities as you change your nail color. You can experiment and be creative. Or keep it sleek and simple. Wave it around and flaunt it. Make it fun. Make it colorful. Make it summer-fabulous. (Rachel Chloe T. Palang)
