The course that fits you
By Karl Aries Emerson F. Cabilao

BELIEVE it or not, it took me a few more weeks after high school graduation to finally decide what college course to take. Yup, I was just floating aimlessly then. I took exams in various fields, ranging from business-related courses in UP and Ateneo to the hot medical-oriented courses during those times-Physical and Occupational Therapy. After doing my own version of a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis, I finally decided to study architecture.

How one’s capabilities and interests fit the college course matters a lot in one’s success. Many students shift courses because they discover (at times too late) that what they had enrolled in is not actually for them. Remember that there is a myriad of college courses other than nursing that would match your skills and interests. So, if up to this time you are still undecided on your course, may this article help you make an enlightened decision.
