COMING from a 74-86 loss at the hands of the Holcim Pryce Pharma-MisOr quintet last March 27 at Xavier University, the Arthro Kontra Arthritis squad is expected to exact vengeance when they host the Cagayan de Oro City-based squad.
With an intact team, coach Al Solis is expected to give MisOr a beating as his young but reliable crew of Rino Berami, Morsie Akad, Alain Abellanosa, Michael Luga and Chris Diputado join veterans Alex Cainglet, Bernie Ursal and Jherome Gadianne.
However, Solis is also expecting a challenge after MisOr suddenly changed guards when MVBA chairman Gov. Oscar Moreno decided to replace Rex Salvaña with his assistant Bong Abad, a former PBA player.
As of press time, Arthro battled the visiting Iligan Archangels, while tournament heavyweight M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Jewelers played against Holcim Pryce-MisOr.
