Saturday, April 21, 2007 Experience Thai cuisine at Marco Polo Plaza
HARMONYis the guiding principle behind Thai cuisine. It is known for its balance of five fundamental flavors in each dish or the overall meal – spicy, sour, sweet, salty and bitter. Essentially a marriage of centuries-old Eastern and Western influences harmoniously combined into something unique, it incorporates Chinese stir-fries and indian curries with chilles introduced by Portuguese missionaries who acquired a taste for them while serving in South America.
Everyday from April 14-28, experience Thai cuisine like only Cebu City’s finest can deliver. For lunch and dinner, Thai favorites will be served in the celebrated Café Marco buffet style alongside favorites, like salmon and tuna sashimi, ebi tempura, fresh seafood, Angus roast beef and more.
With a menu prepared by guest chef Suphap Tubhonga from Krua Thai, enjoy exotic spices, tangy green and rec curries, crab cakes, chicken pandan, Thailand’s famous Singha Beer and more. The flavors and the drinks will flow so come on up and enjoy.
Open every day, Café Marco serves lunch from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at P600; and dinner at P750 from 6:30 p.m, until 10 p.m.
