CEBU Blue Marlins (CBM) Swimming Club is looking at an improved performance in the second edition of the Bohol Novice Meet Age Group Swimming Competition this weekend at the Bohol Coconut Palms Resort swimming pool.
The other year, CBM placed only second in the overall ranking, finishing next to eventual champions, Bohol. CBM then had actually garnered 50 medals compared to Bohol’s 20, but CBM lost due to technicalities. The organizers were using a point system that dislodged them from the top rank as Bohol led by more than 40 points.
This year, coach Rolando Alvarez is eyeing retribution when he sends in his toughest troops.
