Pepsi Junior-Senior Classic tees off

THE seven-week jungolf summer program of Cebu Country Club will culminate with the traditional Junior-Senior Classic, which will be sponsored by beverage giant Pepsi.

The tournament is a two-day alternate-shot format pairing a junior golfer with an adult partner. The field will be classified into two based on aggregate handicaps, and the divisions will be named after Pepsi products – Gatorade and Pepsi Max.

There will be three winning pairs per division, in addition to special awards for the overall lowest gross and overall lowest net.

“It was a very successful summer program where around 70 enrollees enjoyed the things they did in all seven weeks,” said jungolf chairman Jovi Neri. “The Junior-Senior will be one big party with raffles, prizes, and entertainment. And we are very happy to have Pepsi on board once again to sponsor us.”

All of the tournament winners throughout the summer in both the beginners and advanced levels will be awarded during the event. Over a hundred trophies and medals will be awarded. Pepsi products will be given to the participants in designated drinking stations throughout the golf course. (PR)
