PAROKYA ni Edgar finally came out with a compilation of their best-loved singles titled Matira Matibay, PG 13 (Parokya’s Greatest 1994-2007), released by Universal Records, in three formats—CD, VCD and DVD.
All the three formats contain 19 songs—Buloy, Maniwala Ka Sana, Silvertoes, Harana, Picha Pie, Halaga, Inuman Na, Swimming Beach, Sorry Na, Mr. Suave, The Yes Yes Show, Mang Jose, Chikinini, First Day Funk, Para Sayo, Bagsakan, Papa Cologne, The Ordertaker and Gitara.
The DVD edition of Matira Matibay contains the exclusive Bagsakan music video which has never been seen on TV.
Parokya ni Edgar’s phenomenal career started with school performances and gigs in watering holes like Club Dredd. In the span of 13 years, they have become the most durable band in the country and have played all over Asia and the United States.
