Cerealicious: Cereals with a twist
TREAT one’s taste buds to the hottest thing in town: a cold bowl of cereal.
At the new Cerealicious cafe, cereals have evolved from plain cornflakes and milk combos to heavenly concoctions that one can have for breakfast, snack, or dessert.
Pinoy Votes: Sun.Star Election 2007
At Cerealicious, one’s fave early morning crunchies take on a new look, as they are mixed and matched with different fruits, nuts, candy bits, chocolate bars, and syrups. All these are then splashed with their super-special milk slush, which brings out all the different flavors, and keeps the cereals crunchier longer than just plain milk.
There are 15 yummy choices to choose from, and these come in Trailer size and the bigger Blockbuster size. The cereal lineup includes wittily named entries such as Jelly Maguire (Rice Krispies, malt balls, coffee jelly, and chocolate syrup), Jumango (cornflakes, mango bits, honey crumble, and strawberry syrup), Nutting Hill (Koko Krunch, choco kisses, nuts, marshmallows, and chocolate syrup), and the Nerd of the Rings (Froot Loops, mango bits, and Nerds candies).
Want to create one’s own combinations? There are more than 30 cereal choices and more than 40 toppings to choose from. And if one want to give one’s bowl that extra oomph, one can cap everything off with a scoop of ice cream. One can also try their signature smoochies, which are super smoothies with cereal bits – perfect for those who want their goodies on the go. Their four fab flavors are Banana Twist, Peanut Butter Brownie, Berry Mango, and Choo Choco.
The first Cerealicious Café branch in Cebu is located at the second floor kiosk area of i2 Building, Asiatown IT Park, Cebu City.
