Bustamante, on the other hand, easily cruised to meet Austin Murhy in the fourth round following an 11-2 win over Tyler Edey, an 11-5 victory over Jeff Kennedy, and an 11-7 win against Tony Robles.

The Pasil-Cebu City native Kiamco meanwhile marched into the fourth round conceding only a total of nine racks in three games.

Kiamco first beat Dennis Coulter 11-1 in the first assignment then an 11-4 win over Charlie Williams and finally another 11-4 victory over Demetrius Jelatis in the third round. Kiamco will play Stevie Moore in the fifth round.

Meanwhile, bouncing back into contention from the loser’s bracket after suffering a defeat in the opening round is Marlon Manalo, who eliminated Dan Wallace 11-3, Allen Hopkins, 11-4 and Danny Medina 11-3, on his way to play Jeremy Jones.

Dennis Orcollo, meanwhile, had an easy 11-3 win over Mel Lund in the opening round but succumbed to an 8-11 defeat to Stevie Moore in his next assignment.

The Surigao City born Orcollo, however, bounced back from the loser’s bracket with an 11-2 win over Rodney Mooris and will see action against Mika Immonen next. (RCM)
