Pacman lays siege lines

TEAM Pacman displayed its might in the second day of action in the Assault at Gaisano Bowlingplex Parking Lot—Getting Hit Is Not An Option airsoft competition after they dislodged the Yawkoy squad atop the heap yesterday at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

With only a few more games to go before the wrap up of the tourney, the Pacman team of Mactan, Cebu, which placed second behind Yawkoy in the opening day, took the leader’s seat after acquiring a nine-game total of 1,860 points.

Led by team leader Jonathan Cabasa, Team Pacman opened their second day campaign by scoring 350 points in their sixth game over Diablo and slowing down against Toes with only 60 points in the seventh game.

Pacman, which also has Elizalde Tesaluna, Reylan Librando, Calvin Ybañez, Jasper Avanceña and Joe Parkero in its lineup, however, took a walk in the park in its next two games after both their rivals—Yawkoy and Agta—forfeited the games to give Pacman automatic 350 points in each game, respectively.

Team ATO snared the temporary second place after logging a second day total of 1,550 points, followed by TeamLTD at third with 1,330 points, MAG at fourth with 1,220 points, Toes at fifth with 1,120 points, Deep Recon at sixth with 1,080 points and Hammerhead at seventh with 1,040 points.

Meanwhile, the other teams were still slugging it out at presstime. (JSV)
