Cepca schedules monthly tilt on Sunday

THE Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (Cepca) will hold its monthly handicapping chess tournament on Sunday at 1:30 pm at the SM Deep Blue Café.

The monthly chess tournament is open to all Class A, B and C players as well as to all Cepca members and guests.

The tourney will use the five-round Swiss system format with a time control of 10 minutes for Class A, 15 minutes for Class B and 20 minutes for Class C.

Tie-breaks will be resolved using the direct result, Bucholz system, and the median system. The tournament registration fee is P150. Interested players may contact Marvin Ruelan for more details 412-1076 or 0916-4232335. (JGC)
