Speak out: Economic growth
By Eugene Tupaz

“IT has been my experience that Mathematics, both in numerical manipulation and understanding it’s conceptual foundations, enhances a person’s ability to handle the more ambiguous and qualitative relationships that dominate our day-to-day financial decision making.” – Allan Greenspan Investments revive dormant economies, which is refreshing considering our callous market.

Pinoy Votes: Sun.Star Election 2007 Coverage

As it is, basic commodities seem to have become amenities in life because people do not earn much. Thus, reviving our economy is important despite the dire forecast of some people.

And this is happening now that investors are investing in the country. This should result in the increase in employment opportunities and the rolling back of prices.

Also, the peso-dollar exchange rate is stable, unlike in the past. Of course, there are fears that the value of the peso will slump again.

My hope is that Cebu will still be one of the areas that investors are looking into.
