‘Rambolan sa Bantayan’

UNDEFEATED Milan Milendo and fellow ALA Boy Rollen del Castillo will headline another SGG Sports Promotions in cooperation with the Bantayan Fiesta Executive Committee and Pepsi Cola dubbed “Rambolan sa Bantayan” on June 26 at the Bantayan Multi-Purpose Center in Bantayan Island.

Milendo, a prized tactician from Cagayan de Oro City, is eyeing his 12th straight win, two coming by knockout, against Boholano Arnel Tadena in a 10-round non-title event.

While the Philippine No.3 ranked De Castillo, on the other hand, is facing the dangerous Edmund Velayo of the SGG Stable, who is also rated RP No.12 contender in another 10-round non-title event.

It will be a tough test for the slick punching but power-challenged Milendo as Tadena of Candijay, Bohol is seeking an upset win that would elevate his stakes a little higher.

Tadena has an impressive record of 7-1-1 win-loss-draw record including four by knockout.

The 19-year-old del Castillo, on the other hand, who will parade a 14-5, 7KO record is expecting a tough challenge against the veteran Velayo who is carrying an 11-9-2, 7KO record.

Also included in the card is Fernando Otic (6-2, 6KOs) vs. Danny Boy Bontilao (10-4, 2KOs) for eight rounds, undefeated Frank Albia (6-0, 1KOs) against veteran Roldan Malinao also for eight rounds, undefeated Weng Haya (6-0, 3KOs) takes on Reggie Binueza for eight rounds and Marjo Borres pit paws with Mark John Yap for six rounds.
