IT company offers training

TO answer the growing need for software applications consultants, an international software company is offering an “enrollment-to-employment” education program.

System Application and Products (SAP) also developed the SAP Education Program to prevent more information technology (IT) professionals from leaving the country to find better paying jobs overseas. This is why, SAP and education partner Kaisa Consulting established the SAP Training for Employment Program (Step).

Judy Celestial Maramo, SAP Education sales professional, said many graduates have difficulties finding good paying jobs which is why they seek employment abroad.

According to a SAP press statement, Step is offered to ensure the ongoing development of skilled SAP-trained professionals.

It also “provides opportunities for IT and non-IT professionals to be sponsored by companies in a SAP certification course and be eventually employed by the host company after certification.”

Maramo said during a press conference yesterday that college students would have something to look up to, since “they’ll have a job as soon as they graduate.”

Teh Opinion, Kaisa Consulting managing director, said many Filipinos who are working are planning to come back to the Philippines to take the SAP training. (TEP)
