Supreme Court nixes Koko bid

THE Supreme Court refused yesterday to stop the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from canvassing election documents retrieved from Maguindanao.

In rejecting the petition of Genuine Opposition (GO) senatorial candidate Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, the Supreme Court (SC) may have paved the way for administration candidate Juan Miguel Zubiri to snatch the 12th and last seat from Pimentel.
