Center honors scholars’ grantors
THE Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (Cite) held a special day for the scholarship grantors, who were recognized during the 16th Scholars’ Day.
The scholarship grants are supporting less-privileged students enrolled in the three-year Industrial Technician Program of Cite.

Some individual grantors and foundations also sponsor students to assist them in their transportation and meal needs.
Cite’s scholarships are from grantors Alejandro T. Escaño, Atty. Federico J. Jarantilla, Benjamin and Carmela Du Foundation, Don Julian Teves, Don Lorenzo Escaño, FA Realty Corp., Guillermo and Rafaela Du , Hiroshi K. Natori, ITP Alumni, Jose Ben R. Laraya,
Juanito King, Luther D. Bersales, Mariano Pilar G. Saberon Foundation Inc., Mel and Delsey Borja, Meralco Foundation Inc. and Prof. Hideo T. Yamada.
Scholarships from government offices include those from the Aloguinsan Municipal Council, Department of Social Welfare and Development-Lapu-Lapu City, Department of Science and Technology-Science Educational Institute, Mandaue City Government Scholars Society, San Remigio Municipal Council, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Private Education Student Financial Assistance-Asian Development Bank.
Foundations
Scholarship grants from foundations are those from De Pau, Enfant Du Mekong, HCS Foundation Inc., Marubeni Scholarship Foundation Inc., PASAR Foundation Inc., Penton Clan Scholarship, Rotary Club of Mandaue-North, Saint Peter Academy Foundation Inc., SOS Children’s Village Scholarship, Triumphant Heart of Jesus Scholarship, United Families of Northern Cebu for Genuine Development.
Scholarships from industries are from Energizer Philippines Inc. and JM/Universal Feedmill Corp.
The individual grantors include Cite’s alumni and staff.
This year, Cite also recognized grants like Elisa-Vabby Payod Scholarship, Friends from Germany Scholarship, Garces Realty Scholarship, Jens Funk Scholarship, Julieto B. Ardiente Scholarship, Klaus A. Schreiber Scholarship, Mr. and Mrs. Junee Mar C. Aguilar, Mr. and Mrs. Mirardo C.
