THIS year’s Mandaue Business Month aims to strengthen private and public sector partnership as well as encourage innovation in entrepreneurship, an official of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) said.
MCCI president Eric Mendoza said the Mandaue Business Month (MBM) 2007, which will be launched on July 18, will feature the different business sectors in the city and the close ties between industry and the City Government.
Mendoza said in a statement that the partnership between business and the Mandaue City Government is “very important and significant in gearing up the city towards greater development.”
He said MBM 2007 activities are “designed to enlighten all stakeholders of the realities of Asia’s growth, vis-à-vis the global scenario.”
The event also intends to “understand the opportunities available to us” to “unleash the potentials of every entrepreneur, and manage such opportunities towards continued success.”
Mendoza said the MBM 2007 also seeks to “inspire small and medium businesses to become more competitive and advanced for the global market place.”
Activities during the MBM 2007 include job and business opportunity fairs and business forum. (TEP)
