Love Moon sanitary napkin introduced

A BRAND of sanitary napkin that promises to ease every discomfort associated with menstruation now enters the Philippine market.

Love Moon sanitary napkin provides free-flow of air without leakage and is highly absorbent. Vis-à-vis other napkin brands, Love Moon has anionic padding to protect women’s reproductive area during menstruation.

Rhoie Allan Yncierto, distributor, explained that anions are nature’s anti-bacterial agent.

To test the napkin’s breathability, Yncierto subjects Love Moon and two other brands to a test if the napkins allow steam (air) passage. Compared to other brands, Love Moon visibly allowed the passage of steam while the others didn’t.

Yncierto also applied equal amounts of water to check the pads’ absorbent capacities. Love Moon also proved to be dry.

He explained that while other brands use recycled paper or mix absorbent gel, Love Moon only used gel for faster and more efficient absorption.

The use of recycled papers for sanitary napkins, he said, is dangerous as the chemicals used in the recycling process can harm women’s reproductive area. He added that the area is more prone to irritations and infections during menstruation.

Yncierto said that a lot of women, who hesitantly tried Love Moon at first, were happy with the results.

Love Moon sanitary napkin package also comes with a free self-test kit for women to periodically analyze menstrual health.
