WITH numerous health spas emerging all over the Philippines, we can now say that taking trips to the spa is more than just a growing trend.
More and more Filipinos are learning to take time out of their busy schedules and treating themselves to a nice massage. A once-a-month event has become a routine, taking its place to become a lifestyle, just like ABS-CBN’s Studio 23 network.
Studio 23 Kabarkada Gyud Ka, will be putting the spotlight on Cebu, highlighting our progressive city, the sites, and of course the beautiful people that makes it such an enchanting place.
Last June 22, they finally opened their doors to Cebu kicking it off with a Spa Party at Holiday Spa and Fitness in Banilad.
Members of the press enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with Studio 23 celebrity hosts Iya Yotoko, Say Alonso, Juddha Paolo, Bubbles Paraiso and John Jay as they put their feet up (that I mean literally) and enjoyed a soothing foot massage as they chit-chatted and watched all the exciting upcoming shows and events on Studio 23. It was no ordinary weekend with the Kaberks, the foot massage was only an added bonus.
Studio 23 cooked up a contest for their avid viewers where a party will be thrown for you and your barkada, joined by a celebrity VJ of your choice.
With a simple task of e-mailing the network and answering the question why Studio 23 should party with you, it was quite easy for CFFL Flamingo team player Gio Borromeo to convince the network that they were the party. A dinner was hosted for the Flag Football Team Flamingoes at Café Adriatico in Crossroads Banilad and spent some quality time with sexy Say Alonso.
Coming off as a complete lifestyle and entertainment network, the party continued at the Outpost in Nivel Hills with the Barkada Gimik Tour featuring the Studio 23 VJs and our very own Jr. Kilat and Manila-based band 6 Cycle Mind.
After such a fun-filled weekend with the troop, I am looking forward for more exciting things to come. Kabarkada gyud ka!
