ALEX Damole dominated the very first monthly finals of the 7th SM Cup Bowling Tournament of SM Cebu Bowling Center.
The tournament serves as the qualifying event for the Cebu team that will compete in the First National Finals this September in Manila.
Another Cebuano, Boy Gacho finished at second place, while Ruben Ra-mirez of Iloilo City took the third spot.
The top 16 in the July competition will still need to play in the Aug. 4 qualifier. On the next day, the top 30 in the July and August editions will then battle it out for the top 16 slots on Aug. 5. The top 16 will be sent to the Manila finals.
The national finals pit all SM bowling center winners, who will go for each others’ necks all in the name of the brand new Nissan Sentra. Cash prizes are also dangled for the bowlers who will end up in the top 24. (MCB)
