I think that it is too soon to judge the motives of Supreme Court Chief Justice Reynato Puno.
The fact that he has started a cleanup of the judiciary in Cebu does not mean that he will not pursue the move throughout the country.
However, I am surprised that other judges have not been investigated for the alleged marriage scam.
Still, it is possible that Puno will take your advice to keep the names of suspected erring judges secret until they are proven guilty.
I still believe, however, that any judge suspected of unlawful behavior should first be suspended until they are proven innocent.
Pressure by the media on Puno could lead the probe to a sensible path, which is to completely purge of corruption the Filipino justice system.
