Aside from this, Danao will also host the National Age Group Triathlon Series (NAGT) later in the month, which will follow the Asian Long Distance Triathlon, which will be at the Boardwalk area of the Subic Bay Free Port.

The NAGT Series, organized by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (Trap) will cover approximately a 1 kilometer swim, 30-kilometer bike and 7.5-kilometer run around Danao.

Registration fees are pegged at P400 and P350 for early registrants.

Trap-registered athletes will be enjoying a 10 percent discount, while students and senior citizens will get a 20 percent discount.

The competition will feature 10 age groups for the Male class, from the 14-19 tp the 60 and above.

The women’s side will have the 19-Under below, 20-29 & 30 and above divisions.

Prizes will be given to the top three racers in every age group and all racers who finish the race will get Speedo finisher t-shirts.

Those who want to join can submit their filled-up forms to the Trap office or at the Danao City Sport Commission chairperson Oscar Rodriguez.

Registration forms can also be downloaded from the Trap official website. (MCB)
