Norkis launches Spider

THE Spider is powered by a 660cc Suzuki or Daihatsu engine and can carry seven passengers including the driver.

When used in the farms, it can carry at least seven sacks of rice. The Spider’s sleek design is a fusion of the best features of a utility vehicle and a luxury sedan.

Norkis founder Norberto Quisumbing Jr. said that the new hybrid Multicab is produced by one of its affiliate, Porta Coeli Industrial Corp., which is proud of its 5R manufacturing process: reengineering, reinventing, remanufacturing, reconditioning, and rebuilding.

Both Multicab and Spider models undergo the 5R manufacturing process to insure the quality and durability of its models.

Quisumbing said that with the launching of Spider, a multi-purpose vehicle, they are broadening the market for loyal Multicab users by catering not only to families and businesses but also to barangay units, tourism establishments, and resorts, among others.

According to Florante Casas, MTT marketing head for Vismin, Spider is equipped with a 32-liter gasoline tank and can take one to at least 544 kilometers (running at about 17 kilometers per liter). It is also designed with the passengers seated comfortably at the back and has an overhead canopy.

Interested buyers of Spider will be assured of quick after sales services by just texting Spider service technicians who are available even during weekends. The Spider has a warranty of six months free labor.

For interested buyers who want to see and test drive the new Spider, they may go to the Norkis branch at A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City.
