James Capalac, born on May 5, at the Minglanilla District Hospital was left by his mother, Sheila, of Seaside, Naga, Cebu on May 13.

A baby girl, estimated to be two months old, was left to the care of Ma. Cleofe Veloso Militante sometime in December 1999 in Fuente Osmeña, Cebu City.

Under the care

Another child, John Carlo Garcia, was left by his mother Lovely at the pedia ward of Cebu City Medical Center. The mother is allegedly from Mambaling, Cebu City.

Eugenio IV Contado, on the other hand, was left by his mother when he was three months old under the care of Cris Aranas fo Tungkop, Minglanilla, Cebu.

The RSCC-DSWD is requesting the parents and relatives of the children to see social workers Annalisa Gubalane, Suchiella Arong or Leah Colis at the RSCC, corner of MJ Cuenco Ave. and Gen. Maxilom Ave., Cebu City, or call 233-8779 or 416-7516.

The failure of the parents and relatives to claim the child within one month will mean they could be declared legally abandoned in court.
