Youth alliance values dignity

“WHAT are the similarities between a man and a dog? What makes him different from a dog? What makes man human?

These were some of the questions raised by the youth of Barangay Kasambagan during the two-hour session given by World
Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP).

WYAAP partnered with the officers of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kasambagan in giving a session on the concept of dignity held in Camp Marina recently.

Campers

The session was given to the young campers who participated in the barangay’s annual summer camp.

The two-hour session included group activities and songs that stressed on the importance of upholding one’s dignity and living it daily in one’s life.

The session ended with the young campers reaffirming their dignity and signing as members of the organization.

The session is part of a promotional drive of WYAAP to introduce the international organization to the youth in Cebu.

Coalition

World Youth Alliance is a global coalition of over one million young people from the Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, Latin America and North America that affirms the dignity of the human person and trains young people to influence policy and culture.
