THE House of Representatives has started to organize 18 of its several committees, with two Cebuanos getting the chairmanship of two top committees.
Earlier, Rep. Raul del Mar (Cebu City, north district) was named senior deputy speaker.
Majority leader is Arthur Defensor of Iloilo and minority leader is Ronaldo Zamora of San Juan.
Ramon “Red” Durano (Cebu, 5th district) is chairman of economic affairs, while Antonio Cuenco (Cebu City, south district) is chairman of foreign affairs committee.
