CEBU Pacific Air (CEB) announced that it will soon increase its flight frequencies from Cebu to Hong Kong and vice versa from five times to six times a week.
The additional flight frequency, to be operated every Thursday, starts on Sept. 13, departing Cebu at 9:15 pm and arrives in Hong Kong at 11:50 pm.
The Hong Kong–Cebu flight departs Hong Kong every Friday.
Candice Iyog, vice president for marketing and product of CEB, described the additional flight as a significant step towards making Cebu more accessible to the international traveler.
“The increased frequency will provide greater flexibility for both business travelers and the tourists. Both Hong Kong and Cebu are great first class tourist destinations which must be better linked,” she added.
Cebu Pacific operates the most number of international flights in and out of Cebu. Apart from Hong Kong, it flies to Singapore, Pusan and Incheon, Korea from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. It also operates the most number of domestic flights.
Now in its twelfth year, CEB has the youngest fleet of aircraft in the Philippines with an average of just over a year. CEB operates 14 brand new Airbus aircraft. (PR)
