Colours Digital Foto celebrates 20th anniversary

COLOURS Digital Foto, one of the first businesses that started in Cebu’s uptown area recently concluded its half-year long celebration to mark 20th year.

Colours Digital Foto started operation along Gen. Maxilom Ave. in 1987.

The celebration ended with a fashion show featuring cameras from the 80’s, the decade when Colours budded, to today’s more recent and high-end cameras.

The fashion (featuring apparels from Vanidades) and camera show was held in Ayala Center Cebu.

“We want to add a twist in showcasing the cameras and the fashion show concept did it well,” said Jodi Lynn Soontit, event organizer.

“For those who are used to see small and sleek digital cameras, which are what we right now, they might find it interesting to see film-fed large cameras we used to have way back in the 80’s,” said Kelly Uy, owner.

Other activities included exhibits of cameras at SM City Cebu of major camera brands, Canon, Kodak, Olympus, Pentax and Sony and the wackiest barkada picture contest.

Early this year, Colours started a series of raffle draws, giving away MP3 players, digital cameras and a 40-inch LCD screen television.

After the 20th year, Colours continues to update its shelf with the latest in camera technology and print quality.

Colours maintains branches in Banilad Town Centre, SM City Cebu, Ayala Center Cebu, along Colon St. and Mactan. (JSC)
