Cabahug saves Worldwide with buzzer-beating trey
ELDIE Cabahug, the eldest son of former PBA star and current UV Green Lancers head coach Elmer, scattered 21 points including the game winning trey to lead the Worldwide Travel and Tour in beating defending champion Daisy Condensada, 75-72, in the ongoing 2007 Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association.
Tied at 72-all, Cabahug got a perfect spot in the winding seconds and sank the leather beyond the arc in the last eight seconds and Daisy Condensada failed to score in its possession.
Wonders
Chad Cañares topped the losing squad with 20 points.
Home Options, on the other hand, continued to weave wonders as it survived the youthful Kenya squad, 73-70, to keep its record clean after eight games.
