THE University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) girls volleyball team hovers on top of the standings of the first M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Developmental Volleyball League for Boys and Girls after capturing its second straight victory last Sunday at the Cabancalan National High School gym.
USPF’s Wave Paden, Danicka Gendraule worked their magic once more as they led the team to annihilating the Abellana National School, 25-15, 25-11 to top their bracket with a 2-0 card, while handing ANS its second straight setback.
USPF paces bracket A and at its heels is Cabancalan, which improved with a 2-1 win-loss record after defeating San Isidro Parish School.
In the bracket B action, the University of San Carlos and Pajo National High School are now leading the charge after winning their respective matches last Sunday.
USC streaked to its second straight win after defeating Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School in straight sets, 25-14, 25-11.
Pajo, on the other hand, powered by Athena Sucalit and Catherine Marquez, won over St. Joseph’s Academy, 25-9, 25-7. USC and Pajo lead bracket B with two wins each. (MCB)
