Pau de Arco faces Isle of Man for 2nd seat in Diorico Cup finals

ALDRITZ Pau de Arco Liniment is all psyched up.

Following their 9-1 win over the Pusok All-Stars, Aldritz Pau will face a tough opponent as it scales up the ladder in today’s playoffs stage of the 2007 Cebu Association of Batted Sports Commissioner Rolly Diorico Softball Cup at the Basak National High School grounds.

However, it will be a tough game for Aldritz Pau as it plays the top-seed, Isle Of Man, today for the second seat to the finals.

Isle Of Man lost to No.2 Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology for an automatic seat to the finals last Sunday, getting on the wrong end of a 14-1 rout.

Aldritz Pau, however, has proven to be a team to reckon with despite finishing the elimination round at No.3.

With Gorgonio Dignos Jr. making his pitching wonder, it will be up to his teammates to play good defense against the tough to crack IOM, which has its playing assistant team manager to count on.

Aldritz Pau, a team composed of veteran sluggers, however is expected to pull through a tough competition against the rookie squad which has yet to prove its composure in crucial games. (RCM)
