Manila-based retail chain joins exhibit

A Manila-based distributor of fashion accessories has joined other businesses that have set their eyes on Cebu for possible expansion.

Cubes Et. Al. joined the 8th Cebu Franchising Expo at SM City to find franchisees in Cebu.

Cebu is one of the booming cities in the country with a very “lucrative” market, said Maricel Prats of Cubes Et. Al during press conference last Friday.

She is urging Cebuano entrepreneurs to take advantage of the popularity of Cubes Et. Al. products by obtaining a franchise from the company.

She said the com-pany’s products are affordable even though the materials they used come from Italy.

She said Cebuano entrepreneurs can be local distributors of the products and spare buyers the hassle of going to Manila to buy the items.

Edna Sandico, also of Cubes Et. Al., said the company remains stable even after seven years.

Cubes Et. Al. has 11 branches all over the country, three of which are franchises and are located in Bacolod, Baguio and Robinson’s Galleria in Manila.

Bing Puzon of Cubes Et. Al. said she is confident about the result of the expo because “we received very positive responses form people passing by our booth.” (TEP)
