MEZ II Sportsfest brings exporters together
“IT’S ecozone sports at its best,” said Aboitizland’s general manager for MEZ II operations Eduardo PeBenito as Mactan Economic Zone II (MEZII) and the MEZ Human Resources Association (HRA) formally launched the 7th Annual MEZ II recently.
This year’s MEZII Sportsfest runs on the theme, “One Effort, One Vision, One Skillful Execution Through Sports.” Twenty-six companies were represented at the opening ceremony, which was an impressive display of color and sportsmanship.
The yearly sportsfest continues to foster camaraderie among the now more or less 14,000 employees in the economic zone.
Tamiya came out a strong winner both in the marathon relay and for the highly competitive cheer dance face off. Atomed was hailed as the most organized team, and SAWO Corp., the most colorful.
