Rockin’ Revival Band to perform at CTTA event

MANILA-based Rockin’ Revival Band is all set to rev things up at the tourism industry affair dubbed “Flying High in September” at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel Grand Ballroom on Sept. 21.

The dynamic retro band will let the good times roll as they soar high to take guests on a journey down memory lane with the hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Rockin Revival’s usual repertoire includes songs from The Beatles, The Supremes (Ain’t No Mountain High), Stevie Wonder (Knock Me Off My Feet/Lately), Sergio Mendez (Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing), and Earth Wind and Fire (Let’s Groove).

Hosted by the Cebu Tours and Travel Association, Flying High in September brings together tour operators, top hotels, resorts and spas, airlines and travel organizations.

Aside from great entertainment, guests will also be treated to a great exhibition of food outlets serving international cuisine, a bar, a music lounge with a dance floor, miniature shopping arcades, video walls featuring travel destinations, and a casino.

The event also highlights a raffle with over 50 assorted tourism and service prizes such as hotel and resort accommodations, at least 24 round trip tickets to domestic and international destinations, dinner gift certificates and spa treatments.

Event partners include Amadeus, Qatar Airways, Asian Spirit, Flushing Meadows, Stronghold Insurance, Sea Air, Malaysia Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Thai Airways, Northwest Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Continental Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Silkair, White Sands, Plantation Bay, Portofino, Bohol Beach Club, Golden Peak Hotel, Eddie’s Steak House, Café Laguna, Grand Convention, Tambuli Resort, Duty Free Philippines, Spa of Cebu, and Meddah Spa.

Media sponsors are Sun.star Cebu, Freeman, Cebu Daily News, Killerbee, Smash FM, DYLA, Crossover, and Charlie.
