No BO-PK bets in next polls
BPI’s Training Center along Gen. Maxilom Ave., north reclamation area, Cebu City was broken into and robbers fled with equipment worth about P140,000. Police said the robbers pushed aside an aircon unit and entered through the hole. The center is located at the second level of BPI’s two-story building, which has an entrance door separate from that of the bank on the ground floor. No cash and valuables, except one laptop and a projector. The building has no security guards on Saturdays and Sundays.(Sun.star photo)
CONTRARY to what the opposition thinks, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña said he will not be fielding candidates against his political enemies in the synchronized barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections next month.

He said he will keep off the elections and will not support any candidate, especially when Bando Osmeña-Pundok Kauswagan (BO-PK) members are the ones squaring off.

“Ang importante gyud mogawas ang tingog sa mga tawo sa barangay. And personally, I don’t even think that it is to our best interest to try to artificially create one person winning not because the people want him but because of the pressure from the mayor,” he said.
