Monday, November 12, 2007 UnionBank cardholders may now fly for free
UNIONBANK Credit Cards makes its rewards program more power packed with the introduction of Cebu Pacific and SEAIR as its travel reward partners.
All UnionBank cardholders now have the option to fly for free when they convert their privilege points into a free plane ticket.
Before, only UnionBank Gold, Titanium and OmniPass cardholders could fly for free via the Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles Frequent Flyer Program by transferring their privilege points or travel points to their Mabuhay Miles Accounts.
Now, with the success of this program, UnionBank opens this fly-for-free privilege to all of its cardholders via its partnership with Cebu Pacific and SEAIR.
Classic Cardholders can now earn privilege points/travel points for every spending charged to their UnionBank Credit Card. These points can now be converted into a free Cebu Pacific and/or SEAIR plane ticket.
UnionBank Gold, Titanium and OmniPass Cardholders can also transfer their privilege points into free Cebu Pacific and SEAIR plane tickets providing utmost flexibility to their travel rewards.
With this, UnionBank Credit Cards becomes the first to partner with the country’s three major airlines in its fly-for-free program.
Here’s one more reason to get excited and plan for a well-deserved vacation–SEAIR is providing all UnionBank Credit Cardholders a 25 percent discount on non-peak period and 15 percent on peak season except during blackout dates (Holy Week, Christmas, New Year, etc.) for tickets purchased directly from their seven ticketing offices using a UnionBank credit card.
The UnionBank Credit Cards’ Privilege Points Program allows cardholders to earn Privilege Points for every spending charged to their card. These points may be redeemed for cash rebate, free gas, free dining, free shopping and free travel.
