Monday, November 12, 2007 Body of 'salvaged' man found in Busay
A MAN believed to be in his late 30s was killed in uphill Sitio Grahe in Barangay Busay, Cebu City early yesterday morning.
Responding Homicide Section investigators led by PO1 Edario Manatad believe that the man, who remains unidentified, was brought to the area where he was shot and killed.
The man was described as wearing a gray Nike sleeveless shirt, dark blue garterized short pants, about 5’6” tall and with a slim build.
Manatad told reporters that the man has a harelip.
3 gunshots
A security guard, who was on his way to report to work in Ayala Heights, told Manatad’s team that he heard three bursts of gunfire.
The security guard said he saw three men hurriedly board a black Kia Pride car and speed away toward the downtown area.
He then saw the man lying on his back in a hilly portion near a dry creek.
Manatad said it appeared that the man was shot in the mouth with the slug going through the back of his head. The other gunshot wound was in the left temple, Manatad said.
One empty shell of a .45 pistol was recovered at the crime scene.
The body was taken to Cebu Rolling Hills Memorial Chapels. (JST)
