WITH world-class business facilities, SMX Convention Center, the largest private meeting facility in the Philippines opened last Nov. 5 at the SM Central Business Park in Pasay City.
Located at the heart of the SM Central Business Park, an innovative business and leisure complex that addresses the needs of every event organizers, the three-storey, 46,000 square meter building consists of open exhibition areas, multi functional halls and flexible meeting rooms designed for international and local events. SMX is also close to the international airport, key seaports, hotels and other major commercial and residential districts.
The SMX Convention Center has highly technological facilities, from wireless, high-speed internet to fiber-optic cabling and extensive teleconferencing options.
There are four exhibit halls on the ground floor with a total of 9,130 square meters. The lobby on the ground floor can also be used as exhibit areas.
Concierge service is also available to provide assistance and information for hotel booking and flight confirmation, transportation, parking, and restaurant reservation at the Mall of Asia.
For conventions and meetings, there are also five function rooms that can be combined so the area can sit anywhere from 500 to 4,100 guests. The nine meeting rooms can also be combined to accommodate a simple meeting of 10 people to a seminar of 300 attendees.
Aside from the function rooms, SMX are also equipped with facilities giving the finest services: dedicated convention manager and staff for each function, catering and banquet services, dedicated kitchen per function room, concierge service, on-site parking for 400 vehicles, client services like Business Center, VIP lounge, telecommunications and internet facilities, security, cleaning and technical support services, and event management services.
