Grandma robbed, strangled
A 78-year-old woman was robbed and choked to death inside their house in the Aloguinsan, Cebu last Monday morning.
Modista Barillano, of Barangay Esperanza, Aloguinsan, was sleeping inside their bedroom with her disabled husband when unknown persons entered the house and strangled her to death at around 12:30 a.m.
Grandson
Reynante Berillano, 26, grandson of the victim, reported the case to the Aloguinsan Police Station.
He said the robbers entered the house through the front door, which was left open that night.
The robbers stole about P15,000 that was attached to the victim’s right wrist.
A report at the Cebu Provincial Police Office said police are still investigating the incident. (TEP)
