Speak out: Pacman’s move
By Kid Villacarillo
BSJCO, Barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City

I believe, however, that there is something to read between the lines of Pacquiao’s move.

Note that the pork barrel and not the opportunity to become a statesman and to enact laws is not really the main intention of some, if not most congressional candidates.

How many millions of pesos in pork barrel have been funneled into ghost projects and SOPs?

Politics means people, and a politician must be of the people, from the people and for the people.

I firmly believe that Pacquiao is real and is more of a politician than most of those shrewd “weeds of the garden” who are just making business out of politics.

To all of Manny’s constituents, please support his candidacy so that your school buildings, hospitals and roads will be taken cared of through the pork barrel that will be entrusted to him.
