Developer installs power, water connections at housing project

ELECTRICAL power and water connections have been installed at Pristina North, the largest project of real estate developer Aboitizland Inc.

The company’s construction management team reported this week that laying of the primary power cables connecting the subdivision to the distribution lines of the Visayan Electric Co. (Veco) were completed early this month.

“This means that ve-cinos (neighbors in Spanish) of Pristina North, some of whom have started constructing their houses, can now energize their homes,” said Mandy Baria, Aboitizland’s assistant vice president for construction.

A complete water pipe network has already been laid throughout most of the 32.5-hectare community.

Baria said the connection has been made from the main deep well water source to the reservoir and into distribution lines. Electric-powered booster pumps that will ensure reliable water supply throughout the urban village have also been installed, she added.

The community’s clubhouse at the Village Center is also nearing completion.

Surrounding the clubhouse will be a 20-meter lap pool, a splashing pool, a basketball court, kids’ playground, serenity gazebo and patio garden.

Pristina North features underground power lines. (PR)
