Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Fajardos top Moped race
MULTI-awarded local motocross riders topped their respective categories in the 1st Moped Circuit Racing Festival held at Kartzone in Panagdait, Mabolo.
Ex-motocross champion Genny Faelnar and other well-known riders like Zandro Fajardo and his brother Arnel, and Insik Flores joined the event which attracted a mixed audience.
Ted Conde topped the Motard Open followed by Zandro Fajardo. Faelnar took third place, while Jessie Garcia and Ike Lupiga finished in fourth and fifth places, respectively.
In the Expert Open category Zandro showed his dominance over his brother Arnel, while Andrei Ursal finished third spot.
The Novice winners were Jerome Borden (first), Flores (second) and Mark Kapoy (third), while Ursal and Joshua Abellar made it to the top 5.
In the Novice Stock Christopher Pardenilla finished first followed by JR Juntilla while Blendel Sanico and Harvy Catigan finished the race at third and fourth places, respectively.
Ralph Patalinghog finished first in the Beginners Category with Jonathan Teehankee and Chris Micubo taking the next two spots. Dondo Mingo finished fourth, while Bogart Cundangan took the fifth spot. (NSM)
