Talk back: On that ‘belen’
By Jove Trinidad

I JOIN, your readers who registered---I hope they are more than a few---their dissent on the "belen" display in one of the theaters in Colon St.

It manifests the disgraceful artistic appreciation of the movie house owner; a desecration of a scene that many hold sacred and holy.

What one does to catch attention these days!

You wrote that "we don't know how the Virgin Mary and Joseph really looked" but did they look like a Gloria and an Erap?

One must have had a bad day if one thought they did.

But having said all the foregoing, wasn't it Voltaire who said "I disagree with what you said but I defend you unto death your right to say it."
