Regional police chief, 14 police stations commended by CAV
THE Crusade Against Violence (CAV) commended Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 Director Ronald Roderos and other police officials and personnel for supporting the group’s effort to give justice to victims of crimes in Central Visayas.
CAV gave commendations to 14 police offices and stations during last Monday’s regular flag raising ceremony held at the Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr., PRO 7’s home.
Thelma Chiong, CAV-Visayas head thanked the law enforcers for their commitment to serve and protect the community.
Chiong, mother of sisters Mary Joy and Jacqueline, who were kidnapped and raped in 1997, handed over certificates to Roderos, Chief Insp. Rex Derilo, Insp. Carlos Reyes Jr., Senior Insp. Norma Corbo, Senior Insp. John Gilbert Basalo, SPO4 Bernie Junco, SPO4 Mark Nadanza, SPo2 Bueno Nengasca, SPO1 Jaime Mendoza, PO2 Gary Makiling, PO2 Dante Estenzo, PO2 Roy Lofranco, PO1 Rodrigo Inoc, PO1 Ramil Retuerto, PO1 Renido Villaraiz and PO1 Epifanio Comedido Jr.
The nongovernment organization also commended Talisay City Police Station, Minglanilla Police Station, Argao Police Station, Lapu-Lapu City Police Station, Mabolo Police Station, Fuente Police Station, and Talamban Police Station.
Among those commended are the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Bureau, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Regional Intelligence and Detective Management Division, Regional Intelligence Division, Homicide Section, Danao City Police Station and Mandaue City Police Station. (JST)
