Technology aid to help improve rural banks

GLOBE Business sponsored the Data Center launch of ENCASH Network Services (ENS) at Citibank Plaza in Makati City as a testament of its support to the mission of the latter to bring advanced and global standards-compliant technology to the rural banking industry.

Globe Business and ENCASH believe that bank clients in the provincial areas should also be able to reap the benefits that the commercial bank clients experience. ENS
is looking into installing more automated teller machines (ATMs) in remote locations all over the Philippines with the help of reliable technology partners.

Currently, there 17 rural banks, representing an aggregate of 112 branches countrywide have signed up for various ENS services.

Globe is looking forward to future collaborations with ENS to bring world-class banking services to provincial areas. (PR)
