9th Sinulog Export Overruns and Consumer Bazaar opens today

THE annual Sinulog Export Overruns and Consumer Bazaar, now on its 9th year, opens today at the Cebu Trade Hall, third floor of SM City Cebu, with much anticipation from its growing number of bazaar patrons.

Running from Jan. 11 to 21, the yearly bazaar has had a tremendous impact on promoting proudly Pinoy products among the Cebuanos and the city’s visiting shoppers who flock to the Queen City of the South yearly to join the country’s grandest mardi gras.

In fact, since the bazaar has consistently showcased never-seen-before crafts from different regions like Laguna, Bicol, Abra, just to name a few, native products from some of these regions have permeated intomalls and are now regularly seen on the shopping racks.

“This proves that the bazaar is an effective business ground in making one’s presence felt in the market,” says L.A. Ducut and Company, Inc. managing director Lilibeth D. Abais.

This year, the bazaar highlights interesting imported and export overruns from garments to fashion accessories made of indigenous materials,Design Info Company’s wrought iron home furnishings, LR Health and Beauty Systems’ German signature perfumes, Cebu-based Rev Fashion’s shellcrafts, S and N’s lampsha-des and Imagere Fashion’s Claudia and Alexus timepieces. Local products are showcased as well, like Field Artscrafts’ home decors, shell-made fashion accessories from Zamboanga’s Almar Shells, Carlo’s Bamboocrafts made of Abra-grown bamboo, Chelsy Artscraft’s gift items and CT Fashion’s handcrafted bags and totes.

And while there’s a hodge-podge of finds in the bazaar, its mix of fashion accessories will surely delight the fashionable shopper. Aside from Claudia and Alexus stylish timepieces that com-bine France’s design and Japan’s technolo-gy, fashionistas shouldn’t miss L’Cherie Fashion’s bling-bling made of imported glass, aluminum, copper and stainless, and Hershey’s collection of wired sculpture jewelry, neckpieces, brooches and purses made of semi-precious stones.

Bazaar shoppers are further provided of the convenience of credit card shopping as all major credit cards are accepted.
