LITTLE Boy Productions and Sacred Heart School Hijas de Jesus Alumnae Association proudly present the Cebu debut of Tuesday with Morrie, a stage adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same title.
It will be directed by Repertory Philippines’ artistic director Baby Bar-redo.
Tuesday with Morrie is based on Mitch Albom’s best-selling book that has touched millions of lives worldwide with its powerful story of the friendship and life lessons shared between a teacher (Morrie Schwartz) and a student (Mitch Albom).
The New York Daily News describes the play as “a touching, life-affirming, deeply emotional drama with a generous dose of humor.”
It is a heart-warming play that perfectly combines comedy with dramatic moments, and is a gentle reminder of how great teachers can shape and change our lives forever.
Cast
Starring two of the Philippines respected stage actors Jose Mari Avellana as Morrie Schwartz and Bart Guingona as Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie will be staged in Cebu on Feb. 2, at the SM City–Cebu Cinema 2 at 7:30 p.m.
